Joseph's brothers came to Egypt

Famine also came to Canaan, so Jacob sent his sons to Egypt to buy grain, while Benjamin stayed at home. The brothers bowed low before an Egyptian ruler, not knowing that the ruler was Joseph. Joseph recognized them and felt deeply moved, but he did not reveal himself right away. He asked them serious questions and said he needed to know whether their words were true. The brothers were afraid and explained that they had only come to buy food. Joseph kept them for three days, then allowed most of them to take grain home. Simeon stayed behind, and Joseph told them to bring their youngest brother the next time. On the way home, they found their money back in their sacks and were frightened and confused. When Jacob heard everything, he was very sad and did not want Benjamin to go to Egypt. The story ends in waiting: Simeon waits in Egypt, and Joseph also hopes to see his family again.
