God first made a beautiful world, but later people gradually forgot to love one another, and the world became cold and gray. God saw that people had forgotten how to do good, and His heart was very sad. But Noah loved God with all his heart and treated the people around him kindly. God told Noah to build a great ark and carefully explained how to build it. Noah listened to God and worked step by step, sawing wood, hammering boards, and covering the ark with pitch. Animal pairs came into the ark, and when the rain began to fall, God closed the ark door to keep the life inside safe.
When people around him gradually forgot kindness, Noah still loved God and did what God said. God saw Noah’s faithfulness and cared for the people and animals in the ark when the rain came. This story reminds us that brave obedience does not mean every day will be easy; it means trusting God’s word in hard moments and choosing to do what is right one step at a time.
