Jesus came to Judea, where some people tested Him with questions about marriage and divorce. Jesus pointed them back to God's good purpose for the family from the beginning and reminded them not to hurt others because of hard hearts. Later, parents brought their children to Jesus and asked Him to lay His hands on them and pray. The disciples tried to stop them, but Jesus called the children to Him, embraced and blessed them, showing that people who trust with simple faith are pleasing to God.
When Jesus faced testing, He did not get trapped in an argument. Instead, He gently pointed people to God's good purpose from the beginning: families should be cherished, and our hearts should not become hard. Jesus also especially welcomed children to come to Him. We can come near to Jesus with simple faith, learn to respect our families, protect the weak, and trust that God gladly gives love and blessing.
