The Vision of the Dry Bones

The Spirit of God carried the prophet Ezekiel to a wide valley. The valley was full of white, dry, lifeless bones. God asked, 'Can these dry bones live again?' Ezekiel said, 'O Lord, only You know.' God told him to speak to the bones — there was a rattling sound, and the bones came together. Then sinews, flesh, and skin grew over them. God told the wind to blow into them, and breath entered; they stood up as a very great army. This vision teaches us that even when everything looks hopeless, God can still give new life.
