God kept His promise to Sarah, and she gave birth to Isaac. Abraham and Sarah were filled with joy. Isaac grew, and Abraham held a celebration for him. Later, family life around Isaac and Ishmael became difficult, and Abraham was sad. But God comforted Abraham and promised to care for Hagar and Ishmael too. Abraham prepared bread and water for them, and Hagar and Ishmael began their journey through the wilderness. When their water was gone, God heard Ishmael and saw Hagar’s tears, and He helped Hagar see a well nearby. Ishmael grew under God’s care, and Isaac kept growing too. Years later, God guided Abraham’s servant to meet kind Rebekah, and Rebekah and Isaac became a family. This story shows us that God faithfully keeps His promises and mercifully cares for people in complicated and sad moments.
